Unsubscribed from Claude, sticking with Codex

Honestly, it was a pretty easy decision for me.

On one hand, Claude (especially Claude Code) hits usage limits way faster than Codex. That alone is already frustrating when you’re in the middle of real work.

On the other hand, if I want to use Opus 4.5, I already have it through Cursor, VS Code, and Antigravity. I’m effectively paying multiple times for the same model access if I keep a separate Claude subscription.

At that point, there’s just no real reason to convince myself to keep subscribing to Claude directly. Codex covers my needs better, and Opus is available elsewhere when I need it.
